Description

Are your students struggling with how to divide multi-digit numbers? This deck of 31 digital task cards provides targeted practice as students analyze and solve a variety of division problems. This strategy, also known as the Box Method, is a great way to break down problems into manageable chunks to solve the answer. Students use their knowledge of multiplication to help them.

The digital no-prep cards are self-checking and will allow you to track student progress. This strategy is also a perfect introduction to long division.

Cards 2-16 start with three digits divided by one digit and progress to four digits divided by one digit.

Cards 17-31 start with three digits divided by two digits and progress to four digits divided by two digits.

Note: There are a total of 31 cards, with 30 task cards and one student resource/review card. Students should have familiarity with the strategy before working with the Boom deck.
