Description

Students will solve each of the 12 multi-step equations to see if it has one solution, no solution or infinite solutions. Then, they will drag and drop the equation to the correct column based on the answer they got. There are a total of 12 problems for students to solve. Students will need to know how to solve equations with combining like terms and distributing up to twice per problem.

Students can solve the questions in any order. Then, once they get an answer they will sort their equations based on one solution, no solution or infinite solutions.

This is a great activity because it promotes independence and it is quick checking because you can just have students tell you what number equations belong under which heading.

Please note: there is NOT a PDF version of this activity included. You and your students will need a free google drive account in order to use this activity.
