This is a one page foldable for interactive notebooks on solving multi step equations where the variable is on one side of the equal sign.  The front cover contains one worked out example with tips/tricks/hints for guidance, a second worked out example to add in the tips/tricks/hints/steps for solving.  The front also contains steps typically followed when solving multistep equations.  Inside the notes are 6 examples to be completed as a whole/small group using a variety of solving strategies.  For example, one equation requires you to distribute first whereas a different equation requires multiplying on both sides first.

**NOTE** You do not need to cut any pages.  Students will fold notes along the short side (like a hamburger) to show the title along the side and notes on the front.  The only gluing students will do is gluing the notes into their notebook.
