Description
This CCSS aligned worksheet bundle focuses on solving multi-step equations (two-step equations with whole numbers, negatives, decimals, and fractions, combining like terms and using the distributive property prior to solving, as well as application of learning questions).
Zero prep for you! Simply print, handout, and utilize the answer key as needed! Back to distance learning? Students can print out at home, use a site to write on the PDF, or save them to a Google Slide to take notes!
- Clear, student-friendly language for word problems
- Labeled sections for easy reference and study
- Keeps students organized
- Allows for exposure to various types of numbers
- Scaffolded questions so students can jump around
Favorite Features:
- Utilizes dyslexia/struggling reader friendly font
- Fill-in-the-Blanks offer great opportunity for discussion
- LGBTQ+ and diverse family structure inclusive word problems
- Rational and irrational numbers used in practice
This product can help students reinforce this concept in the classroom, review their learning from previous years, introduce the concept with varied examples for a spiral review, and so much more! This product is also just one part of the first lesson in a larger Equations unit, which includes tests, quizzes, and student data tracking, that you can find in my store!
These worksheets would typically take me about 2 class periods to complete all of them, with one utilized as homework! I love to “spice up” a good worksheet with games like Connect 4, Jenga, Tic Tac Toe, Grudgeball, and more! By using a game in addition with the worksheet, students bring out their competitive sides and are much more enthusiastic about doing the exact same task!
If you have any questions, comments, concerns, suggestions, etc. please email me at the address below! (should you find any spelling, grammatical, or math errors, please please please kindly let me know)
Remember to leave feedback towards points for FREE TPT purchases!
