Description

A fun way to practice multi-syllable word fluency!

Included in this bundle are 8 word lists for students to read as they work with Level 4, Lesson 7 of the Barton reading curriculum for struggling readers and readers with dyslexia. Students use their syllabication skills to decode words that contain three consonants in the middle and compound words. At the bottom of each list are spaces to record the student's number of errors and time needed to read all of the words on the list--up to four readings. Students can also track their progress on the Tracking Sheet that is included.

Print the lists on cardstock. Punch a hole through the dot in the corner of each list. Use binder rings to keep the lists organized for each student.

It is difficult to find word lists for older students. This was used to quickly assess student progress.
