Experience

I am an elementary educator in British Columbia with experience teaching in a variety of primary and support roles. I have worked as a Learning Resource Teacher, as well as a Grade 1 and Grade 1/2 classroom teacher. For the 2026–2027 school year, I am projected to teach K–3.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my proudest teacher moments come from continuing to grow, learn, and bring meaningful learning into the classroom. I have attended the TUUM EST Initiative: IndigenEYEZ Seminars, KinSHIFT Seminars, and the British Columbia Teachers’ Federation Social Justice Conference in 2026. These learning opportunities have helped shape my commitment to inclusive, thoughtful, and respectful classroom resources.

My own education history

I have completed a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education. I am currently continuing my professional learning through a Master of Education. My educational background has shaped the way I create classroom resources. I value learning that is meaningful, inclusive, developmentally appropriate, and connected to the world students live in.
