Description
Arrays are an effective visual tool to help children develop an in-depth understanding of multiplication and division and their relationship. These 108 cute food themed array matching cards give children opportunities to identify arrays and match them to their equation and/or total. They are great for math stations and include a sheet for children to record the arrays they match, so teachers can assess how they are doing with the activity and concept.
How do I use the product?:
The cards should be printed and laminated.
- They can used at a math centre with kids simply matching arrays and equations and recording their answers.
- They could be used to play a matching pairs game by selecting cards and turning them face down. Students take turns turning over two cards and seeing if they can find a match.
- Teacher could use them as flashcards with a small group holding up the array and getting students to say or write the equation, OR holding up the equation and getting students to draw the array.

108 cards:
- 36 array cards
- 36 equation cards (4 x 5) - these go up to 36 with 6x6 being the biggest array.
- 36 total cards
