Description
Are you looking for a way to teach multiplication tables that will lead to greater retention and understanding? This activity includes a lesson plan aligned to Grade 3 Common Core Standards for Math and that addresses cooperative learning and multiple learning styles. Recommendations for follow-up and creative practice are included. Students will make a chart that they can use for reference as they develop their understanding of the multiplication tables. A list of tips for multiplication is included for teachers to help deepen students' understanding of how the facts work.
