Included are:
4 activities for the 2, 3 & 4 times tables (up to x10)
4 activities for the 3,4 & 5 times tables (up to x10)
4 activities for the 4,5 & 6 times tables (up to x10)
As students complete the activities, they decode a secret / mystery message, which in each case turns out to be an interesting fact about something Christmas or December-related. I spent a lot of time trying to find facts that were intriguing and that could still fit within my character limit for the activity!
A couple of examples:
In Japan, people often eat at KFC on Christmas.
Donald Trump appears in Home Alone II.
The activities have all been tested repeatedly both by myself and my students and should be free of errors. If, however, you find a mistake, please message me and I will fix it immediately.
This would be a great activity to leave with a substitute as it requires no prep. It could also be used as a homework activity.
