This product includes 6 multistep word problems with a focus on multiplication and division. Some problems have addition or subtraction, but all have at least one multiplication or division step.

Challenge students to solve rigorous problems and explain their thinking with equations and writing. I like to use these as a problem of the week in my own third-grade room.

2 differentiated versions of each problem are available - one version has sentence and number sentence frames.
