This activity will challenge your students to solve multi-step multiplication and division sequences using mental math strategies. It can be completed fully online through Google Forms and it is self-grading! Perfect for distance learning or independent work during centers.

Each task starts with a single number on the blue starting square. Students then follow the path, using mental math at each prompt to multiply and divide to find the final answer. Every other box on the path has a picture of a boy thinking to encourage students to pause and think it through before moving on to the next step.

Task also include terms such as half, double, and triple for a little extra challenge.

This is a self-grading activity. After students submit their responses, you will be able to view them and see how many they got correct. Includes 24 tasks.
