Description
Minute Math is a great way to get your students excited about multiplication and division.
Instructions: Start all your students on the first multiplication sheet (0,1,2). Have them start with the paper upside down so they can't cheat, and when you say "go" they can start. Give them 1 minute to answer as many as they can. If they make it to the last row they have mastered 0,1,2's, and they can move on to the 3's. If your students jump around, they can't miss more than 8 to master that number. Once they go through the multiplication, they move on to division.
There are two sheets to track your students progress. Just simply write their name on the sheet and put check marks in the columns of numbers they master.
*I have also included worksheets that are mixed with all the numbers for students who finish both multiplication and division.
*I hung up a chart in my room that tracked students progress. They loved seeing where they stand with the class, and it also motivated my lower students to learn their multiplication tables.
This file is a word document, so you can edit it to your students needs. If you would like me to add anything or change something, please contact me at kaleymlyons@gmail.com
Hope you enjoy! ~Mrs. Kaley Lyons
