It is great as an introduction activity to multiplication and division word problems to tell about the different types. There are problems about equal groups, arrays, and comparison. Students can read each problem, then cut and paste it into the correct category. Students can also solve the word problems when they are done. This can be used as independent work, a center activity or a small group activity.
