Art integration enhances learning and retention! My multiplication review apple collaborative poster activity is a great way to get your students to help decorate your class this year while reviewing their math facts! This collaborative math activity builds teamwork and provides excellent math review. I've also included a single-page apple coloring sheet to use for early finishers.

My multiplication math fact collaboration classroom poster activity results in an "Apple" design that you can use throughout the school year!

This project is so much fun because your class will collaborate on a large, colorful poster for their classroom or school while they practice their math facts. Show your students the finished product before they begin, or wait until the end and let them be amazed at what they created as a group!

Poster size: Approx: 35" x 35"
Theme: Apple
Math facts: Multiplication to review the times tables from 2’s to 9’s
Poster Pieces: 25
All poster pieces print on a normal 8.5” x 11” piece of paper.

Also included:

Written directions with pictures
Grid reference sheet for assembling poster
Colored examples
1-page Coloring Sheet

You will need to supply your students with crayons, markers, or colored pencils in blue, light blue (blue-green), pink, yellow, red, green, purple, and orange.

Bonus Coloring Page Included

I have added a pattern-filled apple coloring page in this resource for students to complete when they finish their individual piece(s) of the poster. This bonus coloring page is also something students can take home to show their families and tell them about the collaboration project they created in class!

We used this as a filler activity at the end of the year when I didn't want to challenge the kids TOO much, but still reinforce a skill we'd learned this year that I know will come up every year after this. The kids really enjoyed it.

I used this resource in a 4/5 split class on one of my days as a TOC at the beginning of the year. The teacher didn't have a specific activity for the students to do for the math block but wanted me to do something related to multiplication practice. I knew in advance that I would be teaching this group and that they were a rowdy and artsy bunch and that I would need a filler activity. So glad I found this resource!!! It was an awesome way to combine Math and Arts and the students were SO engaged and loved it!! It was an awesome collaborative activity. I still remember the day I used it with the students and the poster they made remained in their class for the rest of the year. Thank you so much!! Highly recommend!
