Description

Multiplication Facts Passport motivates students to learn their facts. This interactive multiplication passport creates a custom slide show that helps your students learn and memorize their multiplication facts (up to 12 x 12).

How can I use this product?

Decide which options you want for your students, upload and share with your students in MS Teams or Google Classroom/Schoology. Students can work through their slides at their own pace, as well as customize the slides to keep track of what facts they need to memorize.

What is included?

1 PowerPoint file with 171 slides

  • A cover page for them to customize
  • Tips and tricks to help them memorize their facts
  • Goal tracker to set goals, like memorize my 2's by Sept 30
  • Two multiplication charts, with one they can add their own highlighting to choose ones they need to work on, or ones they have memorized; and a chart that is scaled, for example 1 x 1 is smaller than 12 x 12
  • Links to online games
  • Instructions for games to using a deck of cards
  • A slide with two spinners, which only works if students “Play” the presentation (this doesn’t work in Google Slides and I have tested it on both PC/Macs using the most current version of PowerPoint), that they can spin and test how quickly they know the product of the two factors
  • Two sections of fact flash cards:
    • The first one includes all the flash cards without the area model shaded in. This allows your students to shade them and see how multiplication works.
    • Or, a set with all the flash cards shaded. For both situations, the students can then ”Play” the slide show and first the question will show and then when they click, the model and answer will show.

Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
