Description
What Students Will Learn:
- Students practice 3-Digit x 1-Digit multiplication while playing this fun, engaging dice game.
- In addition to practicing multiplication skills, students will also work on taking turns, losing & winning, and following directions.
- I use this product with my own students because they genuinely enjoy this game! They stay more on-task while playing this game than they would with a worksheet simply because it is more engaging!
Product Description:
- This game is print-and-go, which is low-prep for you or easy for a sub to use as well.
- Directions for the game are student-friendly and easy to follow.
Differentiation:
- Challenge students by having them use 8-sided dice instead of traditional 6-sided dice. That way, more of their problems will involve carrying and more complex multiplication problems.
- Support students by allowing them to use a multiplication table, so they do not get stuck on the basic multiplication problems within the larger 3-digit x 1-digit multiplication problem.
- Have students who are struggling play the 2-digit x 1-digit multiplication dice game instead of this 3-digit x 1-digit game. The 2-digit x 1-digit multiplication dice game can be found in my shop!
Materials Needed:
- Dice
- Printed game boards
- Whiteboard markers
- Whiteboard erasers
- Erasable plastic sleeves *optional*
