This set of 21 pages heavily reinforces the basic principles of multiplication through the use of a number of multiplication model strategy.

Students will be introduced to how repeated addition is multiplication and how we can better see what multiplication is through the use of models such as an area model, a number line model, and set models.

The first 4 pages have great examples of each model and walks the students through how to make sense of the model. Then they get to practice with these models on each page.

The next 5 pages are a mixed review/practice of all of the models that were covered in the introductory pages.

The next 2 pages give extra practice with repeated addition and set models.

The next 5 pages give extra practice with area models and are also great at math centers under plastic page protectors with dry erase markers.
