Description
Models of decimal multiplication include area models, repeated addition, and partial products. In this math center, students will match a variety of multiplication models to numeric expressions and products. The models used include base ten area models, rectangular area models, 100s grid models, repeated addition models, and partial products grids.
An extension activity guiding students through the process of evaluating using partial products is included. The teacher guide gives you ideas on how to use these cards in small group or tutorials.
