This is a great culminating activity for students to complete after multiplication and multiplication arrays have been taught to students. This activity allows students to place 24 objects into as many different arrays as they can think of. This performance task not only shows that students understand the concept of multiplication, it also promotes higher level critical thinking that presents answers in a variety of ways.
