Are you looking to help your 3rd grade students practice multiplication and understand the concepts and strategies they need to succeed? These word problem error analysis tasks will engage your students and increase their understanding of multiplication concepts.

Problem-solving tasks are based on multiplication, division, multiplication properties, and two-step problem-solving. Your students will love using the agree and disagree cards to critique the work of others and defend their mathematical thinking! You will love the increase in participation!

These mathematical problems reinforce students' reading, writing, and debating skills. Included are agree/disagree cards, as well as math discussion stems and questions to help students engage in meaningful discourse in whole group, small group, or partner settings focused around these problems.
