Description

This resource is a SUPER easy way to make a whole class array city without tricky cutting and pasting! Choose from regular or superhero themed city scenes : )

The worksheets assist students in drawing and creating arrays to model multiplication problems. Students either translate each number sentence in to a “rows of” sentence and then colour the corresponding boxes to complete the array OR they can create their own multiplication problems

Suggested Use:

  • Use the first worksheets to have students translate each number sentence in to a “rows of” sentence and then color the corresponding boxes to complete the array. Choose from regular or Superhero themed city scenes!
  • Alternatively, use the blank templates and ask students to choose any array up to 9x9 (or use 9-sided dice, Uno cards or other ways to choose the array).
  • Once colored in, students can cut around the houses and then place them in a long line around the room to create an array city!

Title pages and extra pieces are included for your bulletin board display, including some fun superhero silhouettes!

If you're looking for an alternative Array Display (ha! rhymes!) for your classroom, you might also like my cute Hot Air Balloon village: Hot Air Balloons - Up Up & Array!

The right side of the paper is cut off when I print. That doesn't do me any good and is a waste of my money.
