Multiplication Task Cards

These multiplication task cards will help reinforce conceptual understandings about multiplication. They are designed to increase in rigor from the beginning to the end of the set, moving from basic questions to higher-level thinking tasks.

IN THIS FILE:

• 32 multiplication task cards (4 per page)
• Student recording sheet
• Teacher answer key
• A COLOR version and a GREYSCALE version are both included in this file.

This set is aligned with CCSS 3.OA.1, but can be used in conjunction with any multiplication unit for any set of standards. They are designed for 3rd grade, but may also be appropriate for struggling 4th graders in need of review, or high-flying 2nd graders who are ready to tackle multiplication.

These task cards are perfect not only for test prep, but also for math centers or independent work at any time of year - they are a great way to engage students in utilizing critical thinking and reasoning skills to solve math problems.
