Description

This is a quick Multiplication trick kit that can help students remember patterns and quick "know-hows" of multiplication.
I used this in 3rd grade and my students loved it and benefited from it! They are color coded so that students can use them at home, at school by themselves, or with their friends! They love showing all the "tricks" they've learned.

Included are:
-2's trick - add the number to itself.
-5's trick - the last digit is 0,5,0,5
-multiply by 6's trick - ends in same digit
-9's trick - last digit decreases (9,8,7,6,5...)
-9's trick - using hands/fingers to help
-9's trick- adding digits together to make 9
-10's trick - put a zero!
-11 trick - repeat digit

Thank you! These are so helpful for both me and my students. I use it to introduce each new fact family by teaching the kiddos the tricks. I have them hanging up in my room and my students can reference them whenever they want to. My students love using them.
