These Multiplication Task Cards 4.NBT.B5 are perfect for 4th grade students working on multiplying whole numbers. Students will practice multiplying 2 digit x 1 digit, 2 digit x 2 digit, 3 digit x 1 digit, and 4 digit x 1 digit using whatever strategies you have taught them. Did you know students are more engaged when they are hands-on? These task cards are perfect for students who write on, physically hold one by one, and pass around if they work on them in groups. 

I recommend printing these task cards on card stock and laminating them, before cutting them. This will make them last longer so you do not have to create them each year. This also allows students to use dry erase markers to write on the task cards. I encourage mine to circle numbers, box key words, and underline the question (just always have to remind them to wipe them off when they are done).
