Description

Give students practice solving multiplication word problems using a variety of multiplication strategies with this work mat and set of 72 task cards.

For each card, students will be given a problem and asked to solve it using five different multiplication strategies, including:

- equal groups

- repeated addition

- number line

- array

- multiplication table

The set has 72 task cards with each math fact from 2x2 to 9x9 appearing twice - once in task cards #1-36 and again in task cards #37-72. There are also two recording sheets.

Teachers can print out and laminate the work mat and task cards for a math center or use the task cards alone with a math journal.
