Description

This is a packet of 4th-grade multiplication word problems. You can choose between worksheets or task cards/flip cards. It covers story problems about multiplicative comparison and multiplying multi-digit numbers.

This product has 3 sets -- each with a worksheet, 8 cards, two versions of the answer/coloring sheet, and the answer key.

Set 1: Multiplicative comparison word problems

Mystery Picture: KING

Set 2: 2-3 digits x 1 digit multiplication word problems

Mystery Picture - KNIGHT

Set 3: 3-4 digits x 1 digit and 2 digits x 2 digits multiplication story problems

Mystery Picture - QUEEN

You can use this as homework, review, enrichment or extension activity, math center, station, or practice for your grade 4 students.

Kids love solving mysteries as it gives them extra motivation. They will enjoy uncovering the mystery picture after answering all the questions in this multiplication word problems mystery picture activity.

You may use different activity types and answer/coloring sheets for each set to create variation. Example: Set 1, you may print the worksheet and the first version of the answer sheet (NO PREP). For set 2, you may choose task cards and so on.
