Description

Your third grade students will be highly motivated to solve these multiplication word problems as they earn pieces to build a caterpillar! Each correct answer will unlock a new part!

Students will gain practice with Common Core Standard 3.OA.3 as they answer 8 word problems that involve multiplication within 100. Please refer to the preview to see if the questions will meet the needs of your students.

This resource includes 2 levels so that you can easily differentiate for on-level and advanced students. The enrichment level problems are perfect for gifted students.

This is a DIGITAL resource that is made for use with Google Forms™. It is completely digital. Just click to save a copy of the links to your own Google Drive. Then, send your students a link to the forms via Google Classroom, email, or another secure online learning platform (with logins). Do not share the links on an open site on the Internet. Students can complete the assignment and submit the answers back to you, digitally. Directions for use are included.
