• Each problem (holiday) contains a fun fact, ways to celebrate, the history of the day recognized, or a “did you know” question for students to read before they solve the math problem.

• Students solve the math problem and find the answer on the February calendar. Answer: February 9.
• FUN FACT: In 2001, Pizza Hut delivered a six-inch pizza to space. It cost the company about one million dollars to send a pizza in a Russian rocket to the International Space Station. Russian cosmonaut Yuri Usachov was the lucky one to receive the pizza. Hopefully, he gave them a nice tip!
• HOW TO CELEBRATE: Of course, the only way to celebrate this day is to eat a pizza with your favorite toppings.
