Description

Since you and your friends have been working so hard to learn your multiplication facts, all the teachers and parents decided to award you all with a donut party! But, they called the donut shop ahead of time and made a special arrangement ... instead of paying for each treat in cash, students have to solve multiplication problems (it’s like a final test of sorts). The class that earns the most donuts will also get a pizza party next week!
Each player should pick a class card and begin at the shop. Players must make their way to stuffing their face by rolling the dice. On each space players land, they must pick a game card and solve the problem in order to earn a donut for their class. If a player lands on a bonus rectangle he/she can earn the number of treats pictured. Who will earn the most donuts ... and a delicious pizza party?!
In this super cute file folder game students will have plenty of practice solving multiplication and division word problems. Students are encouraged to use the bar model or draw a visual to support their understanding. Students can use their knowledge of multiplication to help problem solve challenging division problems (ex: 3 x __ = 30).
