Multiplication and Division Task Cards are a great resource for practicing multiplication and division with whole numbers. This resource includes 28 task cards, a student response worksheet, and an answer key. Questions are open-ended and multiple choice.
What will students review with these task cards?
With these Multiplication and Division Task Cards, students will:
- identify and use the appropriate symbol to distinguish between expressions that are equal and expressions that are not equal (ex: 4 × 12 = 8 × 6 and 64 ÷ 8 ≠ 8 × 8)
- determine all factor pairs for a whole number 1 to 100
- determine the greatest common factor of no more than three numbers
- find the product of two whole numbers (multiplication problems used include: 1-digit by 2-digits, 1-digit by 3-digits, and 2-digits by 2-digits)
- find the quotient of whole numbers (divisors are limited to 1-digit and dividends are limited to 2- or 3-digits)
- interpret the remainder
- estimate products and quotients by rounding
- solve single- and multi-step word problems involving multiplication and division

This Multiplication and Division Task Cards resource includes BOTH a digital version and a PDF version. The digital version can be accessed through Google Forms and allows students to easily self-check their work. You can also use the Google Forms task cards to track student progress.

What if I want to create my own math task cards?
Four blank task cards are included so that you can create additional questions, if needed. For these task cards, you will print the blank cards and write your questions directly on the cards.
