Description
Engage your students with these multiplicative array puzzles! Students will identify arrays, written multiplications, repeated additions and numbers in both words and digits.
Each puzzle contains 5 different pieces with concepts that the students must understand, this knowledge ensures they are competent when completing tasks that rely on multiplicative thinking. These puzzles will engage and delight learners but are a challenge as they are not self correcting nor colour coded.
The set contains 20 multiplication puzzles in colour and also in black and white. If you want to differentiate sets, print the black and white versions on to different colours of cardstock to make them easier to identify and match. Multiplications up to 10x10.
ACARA Links:
Year 2
Recognise and represent multiplication as repeated addition, groups and arrays (ACMNA031)
Year 3
Recall multiplication facts of two, three, five and ten and related division facts (ACMNA056)
Year 4
Recall multiplication facts up to 10 × 10 and related division facts (ACMNA075)
