Description

This can be a whole group introductory or center/small group reteach activity.

To use whole group, project the area model templates on white board to model how to solve a 1 digit by 2, 3, or 4 digit multiplication equation or a 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication equation.

Print out each area model template and flashcards and laminate for a math center or small group lesson. Print out the "In case you forgot" model for students to refer to when working independently or in a center.
