Description
Combining two large sets of worksheets covering a wide range of levels to support your teaching method.
Multiplication
12 differentiated sets of no frills worksheets for pupils to practice multiplication with decimal numbers using the standard algorithm.
Set 1: 2-Digit number to 1 d.p. x 1-Digit number e.g. 67.3 x 5
Set 2: 3-Digit number to 1 d.p. x 1-Digit number e.g. 451.4 x 3
Set 3: 2-Digit number to 2 d.p. x 1-Digit number e.g. 38.98 x 6
Set 4: 3-Digit number to 2 d.p. x 1-Digit number e.g. 176.22 x 7
Set 5: 2-Digit number to 1 d.p. x 2-Digit number e.g. 21.3 x 43
Set 6: 3-Digit number to 1 d.p. x 2-Digit number e.g. 692.1 x 67
Set 7: 2-Digit number to 2 d.p. x 2-Digit number e.g. 12.34 x 29
Set 8: 3-Digit number to 2 d.p. x 2-Digit number e.g. 386.22 x 56
Set 9: 2-Digit number to 1 d.p. x 1-Digit number to 1 d.p. e.g. 15.8 x 2.4
Set 10: 3-Digit number to 1 d.p. x 1-Digit number to 1 d.p. e.g. 109.3 x 1.7
Set 11: 2-Digit number to 2 d.p. x 2-Digit number to 1 d.p. e.g. 44.56 x 8.7
Set 12: 3-Digit number to 2 d.p. x number to 1 d.p. e.g. 976.34 x 3.2
All the questions have spaces and guidelines drawn in to help pupils place the interim calculations.
For the Worksheets multiplying by a double digit number, the interim lines of calculations are shown on the Answer Page, making it easier and quicker for you to find any errors.
Division
Do your pupils need focussed practice with a specific 1-digit or 2-digit divisor ? Do you want them to begin with 3-digit decimal dividends ? Are they ready for a challenge dividing 5-digit decimal numbers by 2 digit numbers ? This pack has potentially hundreds of Worksheets, 6 levels of differentiation, with and without visual support for your pupils to practice whatever method you teach.
Potentially Hundreds of Worksheets
The Worksheets are dynamic which means that at the click of a button all the numbers are randomized providing you with a new set of questions every time, so the same one resource which could be used for classwork, revision, homework, assessments etc.
6 levels of Differentiation
Level 1: 3 digit decimal numbers divided by a single digit number.
2 variants to choose from e.g. 1.14 or 11.4 divided by 2
You have a choice of creating a page focussing on one divisor from 2 to 9, or a page of mixed divisors
Level 2: 4-digit decimal numbers divided by a 1-digit number.
3 variants. Same choice of divisor as with Level 1.
Level 3: 5-digit decimal numbers divided by a 1-digit number.
3 variants
Same choice of divisor as with Level 1
Level 4: 5 digit decimal numbers divided by a multiple of 10, from 10 to 90.
3 variants
Level 5: 5 digit decimal numbers divided by a number from 11 to 99.
3 variants
Level 6: Challenge. The divisors are decimal numbers and must be first converted ( along with the dividend) to whole numbers.
2 variants
With or Without Visual Support
Worksheets Level 1 to 5 are presented in two ways:
Simply with the divisor dividend and the space ready for the quotient
or
With the above plus the scaffolding for each step of the process, with arrows indicating the numbers to be drawn down.
How many worksheets are in each set ?
Unlimited. At the click of a button all numbers are randomized, so you can create as many different worksheets as you need for classwork, homework, revision, preparing for assessment, fillers etc and the numbers will change every time. Keep the skill alive throughout the whole year.
Full Solutions
Contains every step of the standard algorithm towards the solution. This for ALL Worksheets.
