Description

Students practice multiplying and dividing rational numbers with this fun haunted house escape room activity! Includes Google Slides and PowerPoint versions.

They are given 14 problems to solve, choosing from 3 possible answers for each one. If they solve correctly, they will choose the correct door and avoid the scary giant spiders! If they make a mistake, a spider appears, and they are prompted to try again.

Problems include multiplying and dividing integers, fractions, and decimals (positive and negative).

This is self-checking practice. Students will not turn in any work, and you will not need to grade anything. They will know as they work if they are answering correctly.

Originally, I thought this was a Google Form type escape room and that is my own fault for not reading carefully. A few 7th grade students ultimately began clicking through the activity without trying the problems since there was no conditional formatting to stop them from moving ahead. It was still really cute.
