Description

Ready to go, multiply using place value, standards based fourth grade math pear decks- Here is an interactive Pear Deck ready to go for your class! This Pear Deck is ready for whole group or a student pace on Google Classroom (with Pear Deck Premium, or the free trial of premium).

Get students to multiply 1-4 digit numbers! Students will be asked to solve problems that will require them to find a product of a 1-4 digit numbers. (including 2x2 and 2x3) Not only will students be solving these problems themselves but, they will be asked to explain errors, and be able to compare their answer to the class (student names are not shown).

Students will also be asked to compare/try different methods to solve the same problem. For example, using an area model and standard algorithm.

This in my experience has led to great student-driven classroom discussion. So, capture their attention with this quick and thought-provoking Pear Deck. This Pear Deck focuses on multiplication with standard algorithm and area models. 4.NBT.B.5

This Pear Deck includes 10 interactive slides

•1 turn and talk

•1 error analysis

•5 drawing

•5 open response
