My students enjoyed this activity - it allowed them to see decimals in a different way and allowed them to think of multiplication in a new way. They completed this for homework.
This was so helpful for my students that needed to see the reason a tenth x a tenth will result in a hundredth. This was was great review for all of my students, but especially helped the students that needed extra support.
