Build number sense through estimating decimal products. Students will multiply decimals and determine the correct place of the decimal point by rounding decimals to whole numbers. This strategy is meant to be used before teaching the standard algorithm for decimal multiplication.

These two practice worksheets can be used as a classwork assignment, independent homework assignment, or groupwork to practice multiplying with decimal numbers.
