Description
CCSS task cards/7 worksheets, 28 pages
The purpose of these task cards is to engage students in the practice of solving problems dealing with multiplying fractions.
These problems are most appropriate for fourth and fifth grade. They would also be a great Tier 2 and 3 intervention for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders.
I wanted the format of this product to be versatile, so I created the worksheets using the exact same problems from the task cards. Options are important! Sometimes our students just need practice with a skill, and we don’t necessarily have time to do task cards. Since each worksheet has six questions, they can easily be used as some kind of mini-assessment, or as a review later in the year.
Standards Addressed:
CSSS.MATH.CONTENT.4.NF.B.4
CSSS.MATH.CONTENT.5.NF.B.4

Notes:
- The questions are in a variety of formats—multiple choice, multi-select, open response, and models.
- Questions involve the multiplication of fractions by whole numbers, fractions by fractions, and fractions by mixed numbers.
