Description

What is Pixel Art?

This Pixel Art has been created using Google Sheets.  As students type their answers next to each math problem, the box with their answer will change to green and "stickers" will be added to the water bottle.  If the answer is not correct, nothing will change.  Once all of the questions have been answered, there will be a notebook with fun stickers that have been added.  Pixel Art is fun and self-checking.

How do I assign Pixel Art to students?

If you have Google Classroom, this can be shared by creating an assignment and having it automatically make a copy for each student.  If you do not have Google Classroom, you can still share the Google Sheet (pixel art) as “view only” and students will make their own copy.  Once completed, they can share it back with their teacher.

The water bottle would delete and the correct answers were still marked red. Very frustrating for the sub and students this was left for.

Certain answers do not result in a green box. For example 1/6 is formatted in the answers to be 1/6/2025. This was frustrating for my students and I would like a refund

This was SO fun! Multiplying mixed numbers typically isn't students' favorite thing because it takes several steps, but this really motivated them! I consider myself a fairly creative person, but I NEVER would have thought of adding digital stickers to a digital water bottle; it's GENIUS!
