This activity will help your students apply the skill of multiplying fractions to a real world situation- growing a garden! There are 6 word problems to solve and 2 in which the math expression is provided and the students need to come up with the word problem. A perfect way to display a difficult concept! when you multiply by a number less than one, you get a smaller answer. Garden area made it clear.
