Help your students use models to multiply fractions by a whole number and fractions of a set. Less Procedures/More Critical Thinking!!!

Full 2-3 weeks worth of visual slides that illustrates the understanding of multiplying fractions by a whole number. Many practice slides as well for whole group, or math centers!!

This Product contains a PowerPoint Math Lesson (Chalkboard Theme). This lesson concentrates on Common Core Standard 4.NF.4.a,b : It is aligned to the common core standards, as well as the mathematical practices. (I Can Statement:I can apply my understanding of multiplication and sums of fractions to multiply a fraction by a whole number). It is designed to enhance conceptual development, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.

Included:

**23 PowerPoint Slides (Custom Made Chalkboard Theme) Great for classes that have a projector. This visual presentation is an excellent tool for all learners!!! I use it as a supplemental tool with my lesson. (90 Total Power Point Slides Including Answer Keys)

** 52 Common Core Task Cards (pdf)

** Answer Keys Included!!

(PowerPoint Slides are also included of each individual Task Card, Just in case you need to project a certain task to the Whole class instead of centers).
