Description
This lesson provides students a chance to review how to turn improper fractions into mixed numbers as well as mixed numbers into improper fractions. Then there are two places to show how to multiply mixed numbers by turning them improper as well as multiplying them separately. This side by side space shows students that it does make a difference in the product and that they need to make sure they convert mixed numbers into improper fractions before multiplying. Finally, there are some practice problems for students to try.
