Description
Digital or print options! Multiplying large numbers can be tricky and often requires additional practice and support to master. This print or Google Forms™ self-checking/self-grading instructional tool is a great addition to your morning routine or intervention groups. The focus with these activities is multiplication of whole numbers using estimation, the standard algorithm, and word problems. Students are asked to multiply 2 digit by 2 digit and 2 digit by 3 digit. This practice also includes numbers with zero which often throws students for a loop!
This product includes four days of practice pages and then a quiz which assesses student understanding. This can be used as morning work or for small group differentiated instruction. I have used this in my class as a quick and easy way to assess student understanding and gather data for our standards based report cards. The quiz can also be used as a pre assessment to determine present levels of understanding.
*Note - Two versions of this resource are provided, print and digital. You need to have a free Google account to access the digital version.
