Multiplying polynomials. Given polynomial side lengths, students find areas and perimeters of rectangles while practicing polynomial multiplication and addition. Students are also asked to evaluate their expressions given a value of x. This polynomial activity links what students already know about finding areas to working with polynomials and is great for students who need visuals.
There are 2 additional challenge cards that ask students to find the area/perimeter of an irregular shape and of a circle. Includes a student answer sheet as well as an answer key.
