This foldable organizes a total of 12 examples for multiplying rational numbers. I have broken it down into three separate tabs: decimals, fractions, and mixed numbers. There are a variety of positive and negative rational numbers so this should be used after students have mastered their integer rules. In addition to the examples there is plenty of space for students to write additional notes/ reminders about the process for solving each problem.
I usually use the foldable to introduce a new lesson but it also works great as a centers activity, class work assignment, exit ticket, or even as a homework assignment.
Directions and an answer key are provided!
