Description

This product includes interactive notebook pages for teaching a unit on multiplying whole numbers. It includes 3 sets: Sized to fit a spiral notebook paper, full paper sized, and answer pages. (The preview is a combination of the 3 sets).

The following lessons are included:

Prime Factorization (5.NBT.2)

Powers and Exponents (5.NBT.2)

Multiplication Patterns (5.NBT.2)

Partial Products and the Distributive Property (5.NBT.5)

Estimating Products (5. NBT. 5)

Multiply by One or Two-Digit Numbers (5.NBT.5)

Each lesson includes a page for notes and a work page. In my classroom, I teach using the first page, with the students following along and filling it in with me, and then have the students complete the second independently or in pairs.

After completing this unit, I assess my students' understanding using this Whole Number Multiplication Test.
