Description

Now with Photo Guide to each lesson!

Interactive Notes are popping up all over the place now. What makes this Interactive Notes unit different? Higher order thinking! For each lesson students self assess their knowledge on the topic prior to the lesson, then use the interactive parts to learn the meat of the lesson, and finally apply their knowledge to write to explain in the W.A.M. section. Each lesson includes:
*A pre-lesson self evacuation and a post lesson self-evaluation.
*An "I can" statement based on the Common Core Standard
*At least 1 interactive component for Interactive Notebook.
*A W.A.M. response requiring students to Apply or Evaluate their knowledge

Five lessons are included that will take at least 5 days in the classroom depending on the needs of your students. The lessons include:
*Multiplication Vocabulary
*Review of Multiplication Strategies
*Estimating with Multiplication
*Traditional Algorithm
*Common Errors and How to Fix Them

There is a multiplication error on the steps for explaining how to solve an algorithm. 42x43 = 1,806 not 1,706
