An interactive, fun, and engaging way to practice multiplying numbers by 2. Kids will practice representing concept of multiplication using connecting cubes in a pictorial representation, an important approach before students learn the abstract concepts. This can be used in your class discussion, as online activity, formative assessment, or review.
There are 19 task cards on this deck.
Skills:
a) show multiplication sentences in a model using connecting cubes
b) identify products of numbers 1-12 multiplied by 2
c) demonstrate commutative property of multiplication of whole numbers (e.g. 2 x 6 = 6 x 2)
All questions are auto-checking. Thus students will directly know if they answered the items correctly or incorrectly.
