Description

This resource consists of 3 different sets of worksheets. There are: variables on one side, variables on both sides, and different solutions. Each set of worksheets has 2 or 4 variations.

This would be a great resource for stations or collaborative partner activities. The answers to each set of worksheets is the same.

The way I utilized this resource is have the students work out their own worksheet on their own. Give them a time limit (10 minutes is reasonable). After time is up, have them find a partner. Each worksheet has a shape at the bottom of the page. You can have them work with the same shape or different shape to check their answers, because although the questions are different, the answers are the same. If students' answers differ, they can work together to determine who made the mistake and correct it. After 3-5 minutes of partners working together, I have students go back to their seats and call out the correct answers.
