Description
I've used vectors to create a clean worksheet to practice note values.
This work sheet uses whole, half, quarter, and eighth notes/rests and sixteenth notes. We assume we're in 4/4 time, so quarter note = 1, half note = 2, sixteenth note = 1/4, etc etc etc.
So, for example, the first problem is half + eighth + quarter =
Well, 2 + 1/2 + 1 = 3 1/2!
The left side of the worksheet contains no rests and can be used as a modification for special learners.
This is a great worksheet to work in pairs or to work by oneself and then check in groups.
It can also be used as a formative assessment during a note value unit.
